This year, we decided to go to Swiss Garden Damai Laut in Lumut for our holidays. Due to late decision and last minute booking, we only got the rooms for 2 nights only. My mum-in-law and sis-in-law also joined us, so this time there's 5 of us! 
We went to the beach, spent time at the swimming pool and went for a sunset cruise at the resort. Safwan was scared of the sea water and refused to go in, but in the swimming pool it only took him a short while to start enjoying himself... 
On the 3rd day, after checking out, we went to Lumut and took a ferry ride to Pangkor Island. We got back in the evening and then drove back to KL.
It was very tiring, but very good indeed. As usual, holidays are never long enough.

The last annual dinner to be held by TSRC before it would be dissolved. This time, it is again held in Sheraton Subang with AC Mizal as the entertainer.
This time, the theme is 'Back to School', so I wore my MRSM Taiping tie.

Surprise birthday party for our Head of Department, En Nor Azmi.  We managed to pull it off by getting his best buddy Mr Lee Cheng Fong collaborating with us to distract him by getting him to go to the canteen while we prepare the food and cake.
It is very touching as this is his last birthday while serving as our boss. He will stay with us in the company next year, but no longer as our Head of Department. Truly, we are all blessed and grateful to have him as our boss who have provided us with the leadership, guidance and knowledge to help us become better professionals and individuals.
This is especially true for those who have served him since his day one in the company, which was more than 20 years ago! For me, the 4 and a half years alone is more than meaningful already.

This year's family day of my company is held in Taman Desa Waterpark. This is the first time we managed to get our son to get into the water after he refused to do so in the past.
Once he got in, there's no turning back. Spent hours in the water, enjoyed himself, and see how exhausted he is that afternoon when we got back home...

This event organised by Group IT was held in Port Dickson. We had something like the 'Amazing Race' during the first half of the day, and then the group gathered at Tiara Beach Resort for lunch and followed by the 'lessons-learned' group sessions and prize-giving ceremony.
It was a day full of fun and we also get to mix around with IT staff from divisions other than our own.
Personally for me, our Group CIO is one of my team members and I was assigned as the team leader. It is not often that one gets a chance to give orders to your big boss, you see 
Sorry but no picture were taken during the hectic and eventful race itself as all of us are tied up with our own respective teams.
I was also lucky to have won a group lucky draw (each of us got some Tesco vouchers) and an individual lucky draw where I got a thermopot. Handy...

Farewell lunch for Francis Wong
|
|
Steamboat lunch at Summit USJ that we held for the farewell of our Network Operations Senior Executive, Mr Francis Wong. A company 'veteran' that has served Tractors Malaysia for more than 20 years, which means I was still in primary school when he joined the company! 
Great to have a dedicated and friendly colleague like him, and we wish him all the best in enjoying his retirement life.
