We went to one of our favourite dinner place, which is the KL Tower. This is to celebrate the birthday of my wife which was on the 7th actually, but we waited until the weekend for the dinner.

For this year, we celebrated the festive occasion in KL. We went back to Kuala Kangsar on the 3rd day, where there were pictures taken with the daughter of my cousin who was born a day after our son.

That weekend, we went to Taman Meru, Ipoh, for the engagement of my cousin, where we stopped by our friends house, Mahyuddin (I knew him when we were studying in the UK) and his wife Akma (who knew my wife when they were in UUM). Talk about coincidence!

We also attended the hari raya open house for Sime Darby Motor Division (where my wife was working), and how proud am I to say that she's one of the 5 chosen by the organisers to win the best dress award

Another happy day for the whole family, as we celebrate the birth of my brother-in-law's son, Mohd Hariz Izaz

A small celebration arranged for me by my dearest wife. It was a surprise, really
... coz it was actually yesterday.

Anyway, the gesture was really touching, and no words can describe how much I love my wife!

Our son was admitted in SJMC for the second time in two months. Too much phlegm in his lungs, throat all the way up to his nose, causing wheezing sound, coughing and fever...
Just got discharged today... May Allah bless him and make him healthier in the days to come...

The aqiqah ceremony is held in my hometown Kuala Kangsar. The "naik buai" and marhaban was done for my son and my cousin's (Abg Jeli's) daughter Nurul Fatihah which was born just a day after my son. The marhaban group invited by my mum is from Madrasah Rahmaniah, just nearby

Three lambs were slaughtered though, one for my son, one for Abg Jeli's daughter, and another one is for Ikhwan, son of my cousin, Faiz (Abg Jeli's younger brother).

The next day, my auntie Wan Aida offered to shave my son's head... and...

p/s : Due to my own camera not in working order at the time, I had to borrow a Canon Ixus from my staff at the office. So, not that many good digital pictures were taken.

What can I say...

I am so grateful to have a son... I love him so much... I love my wife so much...

Alhamdulillah... Another historical and memorable day for my wife and I... Our son, Muhammad Azmir Safwan, was safely delivered at 4.33pm in SJMC. He weighed 3.51kg.
